The award-winning photographer Joy Richings is also the official HEYBUDAPEST! Head of Physical Imagery. Joy was front and centre at the two latest appearances that the band undertook in Coventry, United Kingdom. These were the fourth and fifth gigs that HEYBUDAPEST! have performed since their manifestation in November 2024. Respecting their current position in the food chain, the band opened two events for an international quartet of bands that included DHAMPYRES [UK], GLASS HOUSE MUSEUM [UK}, THE MALL [USA] and SLASH NEED [CAN}. Examples of the incredible images that Joy captured on the two dates will soon be available here with LIVE video footage of the HEYBUDAPEST! performances.

SINGLE CHROMOSOME
GET TO KNOW SOME FRENCH GIRLS IN ITALIAN CARS
Every month during 2026, HEYBUDAPEST! will be releasing a new single to all Streaming services. Then, on 22 December, all twelve tracks will be compiled onto an album called SINGLE CHROMOSOME that will be available to stream and also as a physical CD. The first single, FRENCH GIRLS IN ITALIAN CARS, dropped on 16th January and deals with the desperate measures we are sometimes forced to take. It is also a sad lament for cutting ties with our European friends.

UNDERNEATH THE ARCHES
FIRST LIVE APPEARANCE IN THE YEAR OF THE HORSE
Just seven more [highly disturbing] sleeps until HEYBUDAPEST! will once again be crankin' out beats of dark disturbing wonderment. The wonderful ARCHES VENUE in Spon End, Coventry is the venue for the latest NecroscopE event the UK's only regular Goth & Industrial night. David, Harley and Frank, will be lighting the blue touchpaper for fellow 'Scopers DHAMPYRE and GLASS HOUSE MUSEUM. The night will also see the launch of the new single FOOD CHAIN, BABY and the debut of the HEYBUDAPEST! range of merchandise.

THE SHORTEST MONTH
BUT NOW LACED WITH DARK, TROUBLING WONDERMENT
Adding to the ARCHES VENUE gig, HEYBUDAPEST! will now appear at THE TIN MUSIC & ARTS on Tuesday 17th February alongside North American acts SLASH NEED and THE MALL. There may be only 28 days in the month of February but at least two of them are now guaranteed to be full of sluggin' beats and moves from David, Harley and Frank.
