THIRTY-THREE REVOLUTIONS
CONCEIVING AN UNHOLY TRINITY
The release of MAD MAX FACTOR THIS was the thirty-third track [including remixes] to drop on streaming platforms since Halloween 2025. The period up to 31 October last year had been the PHASE I - PROTOTYPING period of evoultion. Experimentation was the focus, trying to establish a sonic identify through repeated trial and error. PHASE II - PRODUCTION will end on Halloween this year. The target is to get thirty-five tracks available on the likes of Spotify, Amazon, Apple and all the other chronic artist underpayers.
MAD MAX FACTOR THIS dares to suggest that a post-apocolyptic world might not be as bad as its pre-apocolyptic cousin. With a Donna Summer-beat, of course.
Oh, and PHASE III in the plan for global dominination will begin on 01 November 2026. PERFORMANCE. Yes, we are talking LIVE DANCERS.

SEVENTH HEAVEN
OPENING PROCEEDINGS FOR THIS YEAR'S FESTIVAL
The venerable HELLO KITTY Squirer Strat guitar made a return to the stage for this, the seventh live performance of HEYBUDAPEST! The COVtember three-day festival has been rasing money for local Coventry charities since 2018. As opening act, it was decided to bring a more visual element to the performance, hence the return of the Japanese pop culture six-string. Seven tracks in all were performed, four of them making their live debut. All in all it was the best on-stage outing for HEYBUDAPEST!
Events were marred, however, when a young student disclocated her knee during the performance of the headline act GRAIL GUARD , causing their set to be curtailed.. We have yet to hear on her condition but wish her a speedy recovery.

Come on. Off the top of your head. How many songs can you name about Type 2 Diabetes? Some tracks might induce the effects of the disease but not too many deal with it as a subject matter. There are other influences here. The usual suspects. Not cars or the sea this time. But Madonna Louise Ciccone. Again.
Bearing its theme, the track can be considered a "fizzy pop song". Lots of guitars smashing up the sonic landscape for y'all. SUGAR RUSH has also already been performed live and will stay in the live set for quite some time.

Try working for a German company and NOT picking up ein bisschen Deutsch. Okay, maybe not everyone who does contemplates singing in German but what the freakin' hell! The language itself is full of crazy nuances. The German word for girl [Mädchen] is neuter in gender. A Soda Brücke is a so-there bridge. Literally, a bridge that leads to nowhere. It is just there. With no connecting autobahn or highway. Built in advance of a road that never got built. And left abandoned. Alone.

So no point adding any lyrics to the belated June single release, right? Don't worry, the HERE KITTY KITTY remix is already in development and it will feature the usual HEYBUDAPEST! vocal stylings as the track deals with the pain around missing a sibling. Yeah. Seriously, Ridley Scott's ALIEN masterpiece acts as the stimulus for some heartfelt bitching about displaced brothers and sisters who hardly ever see each other and therefore rarely talk complete bollocks about sci-fi movies.

Schooldays, huh? Best years of your life? LIKE FUCK! An endless nightmare of ridicule, mental torment and despair. But when you are going through hell the best thing you can do is to keep going. So here we are. Decades later. Drawing upon those dark days to bring life into creations such as FRANKENSTEIN FOR LIFE.
Every month since January, HEYBUDAPEST! have released a new single. This will continue throughout the year until December when the album SINGLE CHROMOSOME will hit the Christmas market featuring all twelve tracks [along with a shitload of remixes and re-remixes]. This month's version of FRANKENSTEIN FOR LIFE is far from being the definitive offering. But from acorns, mighty oaks grow.

The highlights have been very high. But Maradonna Louise Ciccone's appearance in DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN certainly scores way up in the achievement tree. Plus, my sister loves that movie.

So HEYBUDAPEST! dropped BOXING JELLYFISH on all streaming services today, a three-track EP influenced by the stranger aspects of the awe-inspiring waters all around this island of ours. Please check it out but NOT IF YOU ARE OF A NERVOUS DISPOSITION. It's very fucking sweary. That aside, the release is significant to us in a number of ways. We are of sea-faring stock. And you can't beat a cracking Fish Supper. But it also incorporates the TWENTY-FIRST track that HEYBUDAPEST! have cranked out since Halloween 2025.
Pretty awesome strike-rate, huh? Never mind the quality, feel the width.

FELIX CINCO DE MAYO
SOUTH OF THE BORDER OR HEADING INTO ORBIT?
This 5th of May, choose the way you would like to celebrate how General Ignacio Zaragoza led the Mexican Army to victory over their superior French adversaries. TIJUANA BRASSNECKING first appeared on the HECHO EN MÉXICO - MIX PARA BAILAR EP last New Year's Eve as an instrumental dance mix. The beats are still there but lyrics regarding separation from a sibling have been added. The track will see at least two more future iterations as the perfect blend is strived for.
After that, dive into the short story CINCO DE MAYO IN ORBIT for a fast-paced blast into outer space as a Mexican hero seeks to repel alien invaders. It features what HEYBUDAPEST! consider to be the greatest opening line in modern literature. We may be slightly biased, of course.

And Cold War nostalgia. And Yuri Gagarin. Hence, 108 MINUTES... a euphoric, driving celebration of this monumentous achievement. This fourth instalment in the SINGLE CHROMOSOME one-single-per-month project is available now on all streaming services. Oh, and Yuri definitely was not vodka-drunk the entire time but he did sing songs of the glorious revolution whilst circling the earth.
